Biography:

Mr. Goodwin is a shareholder and director of Gill Elrod Ragon Owen & Sherman, P.A. He received his undergraduate degree from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas where he graduated summa cum laude and his law degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. He joined the Arkansas Bar in 1999. Mr. Goodwin’s practice focuses on structuring and documenting corporate and public finance transactions, structuring asset acquisitions and dispositions, and general corporate, securities and real estate development law. Mr. Goodwin is listed in Chambers & Partners USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in both the Real Estate and Corporate/Commercial practice areas and has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Mid-South Super Lawyer magazine. Mr. Goodwin serves on the Editorial Board of the Retail Law Strategist, a publication of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a nationally recognized bond counsel and a frequent speaker and author on topics of interest to Arkansas water and wastewater utilities, regulated banks and real estate developers. Mr. Goodwin is also a registered lobbyist with the Arkansas General Assembly.
