Mr. Owen is President Emeritus of Gill Ragon Owen, P.A., as well as a director and shareholder. Mr. Owen was a tax practitioner for over 50 years and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Owen served as President of Gill Ragon Owen, P.A. from 2000-2014 and his practice focused primarily in Wealth Preservation Planning.
Mr. Owen has spoken and written nationally on a variety of legal and tax topics including tax planning, elder representation, wealth preservation planning, legal ethics, and tax-exempt organizations. Mr. Owen exceled at turning complicated tax laws into understandable, practical applications with a touch or two of humor.
Mr. Owen has been named three times as Outstanding Discussion Leader by the Arkansas Society of CPAs. He is also an eight-time recipient of the Arkansas Bar Association’s The Best of CLE and in 2000 was named as the first recipient of The Best of The Best CLE.
