John graduated from the UALR Bowen School of Law after serving on active duty in the United States Army. John has spent his career trying cases and understands the steps necessary to investigate, prepare, and present a case to a jury.
John’s statewide practice includes over 100 jury trials and a countless number of bench trials in more than one-third of the Arkansas counties and Federal District Court in Jonesboro, El Dorado, Hot Springs, Helena, and Little Rock.
John has significant experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation. He is prepared to collaborate with you to review the facts of your claim and present those facts to attain the best possible outcome through settlement, mediation, or trial.

John served on the Board of Directors for Saline County CASA, the Benton Kiwanis, Hannah’s Rock, Civitan of Benton, and was a founding Board member of Saline County Habitat for Humanity. John has also worked with the Saline County Boys & Girls Club and the Benton Optimist Club in their youth sports programs.
John has served as an officer in the United States Army for 29 years and is a veteran of Operation Just Cause in Panama and our nation’s conflict in Iraq. He commanded Arkansas’ own 77th Aviation Brigade in combat in Iraq in support of the 36th Infantry Division and the 25th Infantry Division. His military awards include the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal.
