John graduated from the UALR Bowen School of Law after serving on active duty in the United States Army.  John has spent his career trying cases and understands the steps necessary to investigate, prepare, and present a case to a jury.
John’s statewide practice includes over 100 jury trials and a countless number of bench trials in more than one-third of the Arkansas counties and Federal District Court in Jonesboro, El Dorado, Hot Springs, Helena, and Little Rock. 
John has significant experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation.  He is prepared to collaborate with you to review the facts of your claim and present those facts to attain the best possible outcome through settlement, mediation, or trial.

Community Involvement: 
John served on the Board of Directors for Saline County CASA, the Benton Kiwanis, Hannah’s Rock, Civitan of Benton, and was a founding Board member of Saline County Habitat for Humanity. He currently serves as the Chair of the Board for the Arkansas National Guard MWR Foundation and the Chair of the Board for the Arkansas National Guard Military History Museum. 
Military Service:

John was confirmed by the United States Senate and promoted to Brigadier General in the United States Army on July 15, 2017.  He currently serves as an Assistant Adjutant General in the Arkansas Army National Guard.  John is a veteran of Operation Just Cause in Panama and our Nation’s conflict in Iraq.  The highlight of his career is command of the 77th Combat Aviation Brigade on deployment in Iraq in support of the 36th Infantry Division and the 25th Infantry Division. His military awards include the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal. 

John has 29 years of experience as a military helicopter pilot in the Active Army and in the National Guard.  John has flown Army helicopters on four continents in support of three named operations.  He has over 30 years of total aviation experience as a Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor in both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.
