Environmental, Regulatory and Administration
Our Regulatory Law practice area covers matters involving electric, natural gas, water and telephone utilities. We regularly represent clients in connection with matters pending before the Arkansas Public Service Commission, including rate-making, jurisdictional and certificate of necessity matters.
Our Environmental Law practice area assists clients with permitting, compliance monitoring, enforcement, litigation, and administrative adjudications in all areas of environmental law. Our involvement in environmental litigation focuses on federal CERCLA (Superfund), RCRA (hazardous waste management), CAA (Clean Air Act) and CWA (Clean Water Act) litigation, and similar state-law-based actions. Our attorneys have considerable trial experience in complex environmental cases. We combine our environmental law and litigation experience with scientific knowledge to solve client problems and avoid disputes, and our technical and industry experience enables us to comprehensively understand clients’ concerns and communicate effectively with technical personnel, consultants, and trial experts.
